To experience the Southern Gulf Islands during its quiet season is to experience an absence of chaos, clutter and congestion. In essence, a whitespace. Nothing. A blank canvas providing the possibility of everything. Artist duo, The Automatic Message, has created The Art of Nothing Gallery, a fully immersive audio-visual and sculptural installation, exploring the interplay of writing, weaving, pottery, painting and photography. This exhibit is an interdisciplinary vision of art forms coming together to present the blank canvas that is the Southern Gulf Islands, in a way they have never been seen before. Nothing truly is everything.
